Ads

Here are some very potent ads from one of my favorite websites... http://adsoftheworld.com/
It is a site that posts creative marketing ads from all over the world. These ads are really interesting to me because of their "second look" factor. The "second look" factor is when the ad causes you to take a "second look" or closer look (similar to the "double take" that happens with good looking people... or so I've heard). I feel this is an important feature to the non-profit world when trying to shout to an image/media saturated world. Some of these give you a sick feeling in you stomach and are a little disturbing... but I'm not so sure that is a bad thing... but I'm curious as to what others think...

I like the first one a lot. The second one im not gonna lie, the first look i was thrown back because it looks like a hand reaching up her skirt. What is it supposed to be?

Smart, professional advertising like this could be a huge help in raising awareness. And raising awareness will result in more action and more liberations. Thanks for posting this!
